Gröna Lund

Pel's brother and one of his friends are visiting him these days. And since we had never been to Gröna Lund, we thought it could be a good opportunity to go with them!

Gröna Lund is Stockholm's amusement park, located in the center of the city, next to the water. It's not very big, but there are enough rides to have fun during a couple of hours.

We arrived around 19:00 there, and stayed until closing time, at 22:00. We took it easy and started with some roller coasters. In line...


Then we went on with the magic carpet, some ride that does rotational translations quite fast. Our stomack went upside down!! Yeah! That was so much fun... except for Youssef that definitely got sick and couldn't do anything more for the whole evening!!

Then we headed for the Extreme!! Only Pel and I dared to do it! Thrilling ride!!


To have our stomacks rest (a little), we decided to go inside the "weird house". Some funny rooms with optical illusions. Made for kids under 12, but we still had fun... hehe...

On the final carpet... Do I look too old for this? I don't care, I enjoyed it!


After having our stomacks go upside down again on the Vikingen (a ride similar to the magic carpet, but the movement is a rotation here (not full though)) and on the "merry-go-round-swinging-chairs", we went to Katapult!

This was awesome! Plus we had a great view from up there!!

Right after, we won some huge chocolate bar!

And then, sadly, while heading to Tilt (some kind of Katapult-like ride, but higher!!), the park closed... Too bad!
