Last Nymble

Last Nymble... Again, last something... I don't like the word last these days.

But let's be positive. When it's the last one, you tend to appreciate it more. And it has been proven right yesterday, for the last party organised by KTH's Student Union, in there building called Nymble.

Those parties have never been so good during the whole year. So we quickly started avoiding them. But yesterday night was different. A lot of erasmus student attended the party. One way to see again some "long since last seen heads", the building, and remember our early days here... ...Sweet Souvenirs...

Of course I went to the party! I've seen many friends there, but spent most of my time with Guillaume, Youssef, and Nika, a good friend from Slovenia who came back to her country in january, but who is back those days to say hello! Nice! Mira, the girl hosting her was also with us!

So here we go for the party pictures! Sitting at the begining of the night, waiting for the place to fill up... I stole Mira's sweater. Funny!

Group picture!

A very crowded evening. On the dance floor with Guillaume! Party on!

Nika on my shoulders!

The five of us.

You who tool the picture, maybe you should have taken one beer less... Anyway, i like the effect!

A funny evening! Some good fun, plus I was able to see quite a lot of friends and have some nice chats with them! Sadly, it ended quite early, at 3:00. So we decided to follow the girls to there place, with the last train, two stops from ours.

Going to the train!

Once there, on our way to their corridor, we found this 'I don't know how you call this in english'. No need to say I had to have fun with it.

Even though it may seem like it's the middle of the day, it was just 4:00... Soon non stop light!

Then we spoke and had some slovenian honey snapps brought by Nika! Thanks!

Funny series of pictures. No comment.

And finally we took the first train in the morning, at 6:00, spanish style!! Long day! Long evening! A good deal of fun, which was especially welcome since Guillaume is leaving definitely next tuesday...

Last Bandy!

I had my last bandy game of the year... maybe ever... Let's not think about it...

14 players! 2 teams! Many goals! Lots and lots of fun... and sweat!!

For those who would not know, bandy is the short name that we use for innebandy (Bandy is another sport actually, outdooor, not indoor), which is very popular here. It's some kind of hockey you play on wood, without skates. Easy, fast, exhausting and fun!

Some pictures of the last game we had!

In action!!

The fast & the furious!

You need to have faster reactions Christelle!

Roland as goal keeper!

Sometimes it goes to 1 vs 1!

I told you we got sweaty...

Could they go through me...

One for all and all for one!

Bandy team!

I really had wonderful times playing bandy this year! It was always fun to go play and burn some energy! I will keep my stick as a souvenir and never forget those great games we had!

Maybe I'll join some bandy club back in France, if it exists...

Becoming swedish, last attempt

As you may know, blond is not a stereotype in Sweden, it's the norm. Maybe half of them are naturally blond, and probably half the rest is unaturally blond...

I decided, along with Pel (who I convinced quite easily), to join this last part of the population.

That's how I bought two sets of maximal blond hair dying kits! Let's try and see how we end up like...

Here we are, before we start, in my room!

Kits in hand!

I started first.

The process has to be done in 4 steps. First, you put some lotion in your hair, to help the color stick, or whatever.

Then, when that lotion is everywhere in your hair, you put the dying cream all over your head. A bit long, but funny!

And then you wait for 30 minutes.

When I finished this third step, Pel started the whole thing. There he goes.

He also went for the eyebrows!

When he finally finished putting the cream on his head, it was time for me to wash my hair.
Under the shower!

And then (hairy) Pel's turn!

After putting some extra lotion to give energy to the hair, we had to wash it again, and then dry it...

...

... to finally unveil...

...

...a crapy result! Lol, no difference for me, and hardly one for Pel!! Of course, it's not a big surprise considering how dark our hair are, but we thought the change would be bigger.

Pel.

And me.

Anyway, that was a good deal of fun, especially with the dying cream. After some minutes, it gets very sticky and you can make crazy haircut!!

Check them out!

Tell me if you can see any changes!!

At least Pel got a little lighter!

Even under the sun there are no differences compared to before!

Anyway, it was a nice break during our work... which I will go back to now! See you around!

Exams soon...

Who says exams says "I need to do something else".

In my case, I took pictures of my Chateau Rahoul candle.

Good wine, sweet souvenirs, great person, peaceful candle, nice pictures.

Mmmh... Yes, I should go back to work now if I want to avoid wishing the bottle to be full next friday...

Friday evening

It all startded with a barbecue in the parc in front of my building, organized by Guillaume's corridor.

The group was mostly french and swedish. Hopefully Laura was here to bring some wider european spirit! And a nice smile!

Roland and his coal.

BBQ table.

We played that swedish-kind-of-lik-baseball game. Not tremendous, but we still had good fun! France VS Sweden. Don't forget the game is swedish though: no winners nor loosers!

Go go Pel!

I didn't hurt anyone, I sware!

Then we moved to town, to some club we suscribed on the guest list (which allowed us to enter for free).

Swedish hair style for Pel and I.

The new Pel!

Inside the club.

As it was crappy, we moved to some other place, but it wasn't really cool too, especially compared to last time we had been there...

Inside the second place.

So after about an hour we just left.

Even if it wasn't the greatest evening ever, I still had some good fun!
