¡Hola!
Live from Barcelona, or to be more precise Sant Cugat. I have been here for a couple of days now, enjoying the cool weather and the charms of Catalunya.
Of course I have already spent some time walking in Barcelona, peering around and taking pictures. Always great to visit a new city!! I of course took lots of pictures:
Las Ramblas, that big popular and touristic avenue that goes from Plaça Catalunya to the harbor.
I like this picture...
A funny sculpture, colorful as always here.
I also saw Gaudi's buidlings. Haven't been inside yet. Bur it's already pretty interesting to see these very original facades.
I was less lucky on the cathedral since it is currently being cleaned... but the square was nice.
I've had time to see many nice things, as the Arc de Triumf (built for the first Universal Exposition in 1888, cool fact isn't it?)... ... or the corrida arena.
Of course i saw the very impressive Sagrada Familia. Very curious to see a 'cathedral' being built, taking so many years. Interesting to see a modern way of building and designing such a huge church! A must see for anyone who comes in Barcelona!
But Barcelona is also very nice inner courts and typical narrow streets with balconies full of plants!
Of course everything isn't so charming when you start walking in some areas... But it was still fun to see this.
Ok, I will tell you later about the trip to Cadaqués and Girona. Hasta luego.
