End of February

February will soon come to an end.

But winter is not over yet. I don't think the sea will completely turn into ice in town. It's quite rare actually, and this year hasn't been cold enough. Temperature didn't go much below -10°.

However, the sea started to turn into ice in some places. For the ones that couldn't come here to see it, here how it looks like. Ice with little snow around Gamla Stan.

Exams will now arrive soon. And I will try not to mess up again like during last period. Serious days... and then sweet Barcelona!

One thought for the Cercle Europe in Supélec. The Semeu is coming fast as well, again this year. It's really too bad I couldn't come. Still, I wish you to have a great time! For those who don't understand, hit the LBG Supélec link on your right.

Besitos!

Birthday

Last thursday was my birthday. To celebrate my 23rd 15th of february, I had on thursday evening a nice dinner with Ari and Laura, since they couldn't come the following day to the dinner party I was organizing. It was very nice from them, they cooked me a very good meal, we had a great time!!

Then on friday, my friends came to my corridor to celebrate as it had to be done my birthday! I had asked them to bring food and drinks from their home countries. An international evening! With France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Morroco! Plenty of food, it was very good!

I was happy that most of my german friends, and especially Max, could come. It was very nice to have them here!

Pretty much everyone could come in fact, except Guillaume and Audrey who were both in the air, coming back from France, Roland, and Ari and Laura who were in the middle of Sweden, in a friend's house for the weekend.

Max and Timo, my best german buddies!

Youssef and Max!

The german crew.

And Pel, always here!! Cheers!

We spent our time talking, eating, and finally we played a game called 'the wearwolf'. It was funny!

I also got very very nice gifts... A huge magnetic frame with very sweet pictures on it...

... a beautiful poster of Stockholm...

... and a Hard Rock Café polo shirt!

Thank you so much for the gifts, for coming, for everything! I had a very good time!!

Hockey: Sweden VS Finland

The time finally came for this long awaited hockey game: Sweden versus Finland!

Christelle, Audrey, Laura, Pel and I went together. Since we had to support a team, we chose the Swedish one. And who supports Sweden has to wear yellow and blue! Finally a good occasion to wear my swedish hockey jersey had come!

We arrived in Globen a bit early. So we had a bit of time to visit the biggest spherical building in the World: quite impressive.

We ended quite fast in the hockey supporters' shop, where Pel got a scarf and a Mr Snowman and I a wig...

At last, the game started. As brutal and fast as it had to be! A good game, fun to watch! It could have been slightly better with a fight maybe lol. Sweden won 1-0.

What was more dissapointing was that swedish and finnish supporters were quite silent. Scandinavian people, always so quiet...

But we had a great time, watching the game, and goofing around with our supporter's items...

Audrey, imperial.

Graou!

Dumbo?

And here's Pel's Mr Snowman...

A nice and funny afternoon! I had a very good time!

Saturday walk

Saturday has been for 3 weeks now walking day in Stockholm for Audrey, Christelle, Pel and I. Nicole, an american friend of Audrey, had joined us yesterday.

After skeppsholmen, and the west of Södermalm, it was Odenplan and its surroundings' turn yesterday. We have been lucky again with the weather since the sky was beautifuly blue one more time.

Since I had heard about it so many times from my friends from the School of Architecture, I took the opportunity of walking by the City Library to enter inside it with the group. We took several pictures there.

However, the temperatures haven't stopped dropping for 3 weeks, and we are now between -5° and -10°... kind of cold... So we didn't walk so much, and quickly sheltered in a coffee place to drink something warm and eat something sweet.

Apart from the cold air, I had a very good time. While walking back to my room, I stopped in a shop to buy thighs and thicker gloves, which I hadn't done yet... I'm now ready to enjoy fully next week's walk!
